I have so many fond memories of Mary. We first met when I taught her wonderful sons, Jay and Matt at Good Shepherd Episcopal School. We became dear friends, and whenever I needed a substitute, I could always count on Mary. She was the best! I have never known such a kind and caring person who always saw the best in every situation. She was a role model to us all as she fought her lung condition over the years. When we talked last week she was looking forward to getting to have lunch with several of us as soon as she felt a little stronger. We will all miss her so very much. Kris, Jay, and Matt, please know that I am keeping you close to my heart.
