Marianne Denning's Obituary
Marianne Denning, a beloved wife, mother, nonna, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend, passed away gracefully on May 4, 2025. She was born on July 8, 1951, in Boston
Massachusetts to John and Catherine Ciccone. In her 73 years, Marianne created a legacy of love and service and an inspirational spirit for life’s journey.
Marianne’s greatest devotion was to her family’s happiness. She was our champion.
Through her endless love and support, she is survived by her husband James, her sons and their families, Anthony and his wife Amy, and Alex and Lauren, her grandchildren Jade, Andrew, Luke, and Abby, and her surviving siblings, Cathy, Paul and Donna and her husband Michael.
Her devotion to people extended far beyond her family. She was an amazing friend, driven to show her love through thoughtfulness we should aspire to. She advocated and acted for the people and organizations dear to her heart with a fierce spirit of kindness and dissent.
Her love for people and history, combined with her adventurous spirit, made travel a
natural passion. She would happily tell you that she got to see a lot more of the world than she ever expected. Scotland was her favorite place next to New England, on a long list of cherished destinations full of incredible friends and memories.
Marianne will be remembered for her kindness, compassion, generosity, and certainly her gusto. She touched the lives of all who knew her, and many who did not, choosing to spread love and hope with her life. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who have the privilege of knowing her.
A public service to celebrate Marianne will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2025, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at Restland Funeral Home, 13005 Greenville Ave. Dallas, TX 75243.
