Connie Parker
Marianne was a good friend of mine. We shared moments of working together as nurses for Truman Medical Centers, giving hell to the nursing supervisors, and giving good care to the patients. We gave each other support and advise in raising children in this difficult world. I remember mostly, was the time Marianne was relocating to Dallas, Texas with her family. However, she knew that I was having surgery the week she was planning to leave. She remained in Kansas City until several days afterwards, making sure that I was in good condition. Marianne, I will always remember you. May you rest in peace. To the family: All of you have given Marianne the love and support that was needed during her best and most difficult times in her life. Hold your heads up, wipe away the tears, because of the love that she felt and talked about whenever it was possible. Missing you already, Connie Parker friend and comrade
