Mariano S. Gonzales' Obituary
Mariano “Mern” Gonzales, Sr., was born February 2, 1932, and passed away on May 26, 2009. Survived by his wife of 59 years, Carmen Gonzales, his mother, Pola Gonzales, daughter, Linda Martinez (Arturo), sons, Robert (Renae) and Mariano, Jr., (Kim), seven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and one great, great-grandchild. He was beloved by five brothers, two sisters, and numerous family and friends. He was a Master Mason, Scottish Rite and Hella Shrine Temple. He retired from the Federal Reserve Bank. The service will be held Friday, May 29, 2009, at 10:00 AM, at Restland Funeral Home in Dallas. The visitation will be Thursday, May 28, 2009, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A reception will follow the service at Emanu-El United Methodist Church.
