Maribelle Leeper's Obituary
Maribelle Leeper passed away on April 7, 2015. Mrs. Leeper was born on May 1, 1919 in Okmulgee, OK. She was graduated from high school there, then earned an Associate in Business Science from Okmulgee Junior College. She was a 1941 graduate of the University of Oklahoma, with a BS in Business Administration. That fall, she married Harold Harris Leeper, who predeceased her in 2003. They lived in Igloo, SD, Oklahoma City, OK, Falls Church, VA, and Dallas, TX. Their lives included legal conferences with his SW Society of Arbitrators, military functions through his U.S. Army Reserve service, and church activities at Highland Park United Methodist Church. Maribelle was an active P.E.O. for 59 years, a Million Dollar Club realtor, an avid Sooners fan, and a beloved Mooma. She is survived by son Robert C. Leeper and wife, Nancy, of Austin, her daughter Marilyn Leeper Hood and husband, Michael, of Hot Springs Village, AR; four grandsons: Andrew (Jennifer) Leeper of Austin, Scott (Melanie) Moulton of Norman, OK, Brad (Amanda) Moulton of Richardson, Steven (Lindsey) Leeper of Houston and five great-grandchildren. The family thanks Janet Renshaw, Doctors Hospice and the staff of The Plaza at Edgemere for their loving care. Memorial service will be held at 2:30 P.M., Friday, April 10th at HPUMC in Cox Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the 2 X 2 Class Benevolence Fund, HPUMC, 3300 Mockingbird Lane, Dallas, TX 75205. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75238 at Restland Road.
