Marie S. Crowell's Obituary
Born Zell Marie Segler to Joseph and Emma Segler in Travis County, Texas on August 22 1924 and passed away at age 91 on February 23, 2016, in peace at her home. She was preceded by her husband of 67 years A.F. Crowell and her son Will Crowell. She is survived by a daughter, Betty Creel and her husband Leo of Spring, Texas. Two sons: John Crowell of Garland and Mark Crowell and wife Suzan of Van Alstyne, Texas. She had ten grandchildren, 10 great grand children, and many loving nieces and nephews. Marie loved to cook and worked at O’Henry Elementary cafeteria and retired from the Richardson School District after 15 years of service. She dearly loved her Rangers. Everything stopped for their games, but she really hated when they played on the West Coast.. .. she went to bed at 9 PM!!!! She was the center of a large and loving family and friends. She was the last of the Greatest Generation for our family. She was a truly loving person. She will be missed by all. The Viewing will be at Restland Funeral Home on Friday, February 26, 2016 from 6pm to 8pm. The Funeral Service will be at Restland Wildwood Chapel on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at 12:30 pm with Ted Campbell officiating. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243.
