Marie Chokeetah (Smith) Tully's Obituary
TULLY,MARIE CHOKEETAH SMITH born March 19, 1920, to Frank and Murtis Smith. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Chris Blalock, her late husband Robert Allen Tully, two grand children and her daughter, Suzy Blalock. Nita is survived by her son, Jackie Blalock of Canton Texas; daughter, Billie Fink of Missouri; 6 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren, her siblings and many neices and nephews. Nita was the family Matriarch and her passing has ended the five generation’s. She loved dancing, especially the Waltz. She was so talented that she excelled at anything she tried to do, from Painting, Ceramics, sewing, and gardening. She loved talking on the phone, laughing with her loved ones, and catching up with her Brothers and sisters. Nita retired from Texas Instruments after 16 years, and enjoyed going back for the company reunions. She was a hard worker, loved her family, and wanted them to be happy and get along. She was the glue that kept us together and truly will be missed. Services will be held Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at 10:00 AM Restland Wildwood Chapel with visitation one hour prior.
