Marietta Greenfield's Obituary
Greenfield, Marietta F.of Dallas passed away on Friday, November 23, 2013. She was born in Jamaica, Iowa on December 16, 1919 to Charles and Elizabeth Walker. She was married for 52 years to the love of her life, the late Don C. Greenfield. Rita was the “Voice of Lake Highlands” at Lake Highlands High School for over 40 years. She was awarded The Unsung Hero award by the Lake Highlands Exchange Club. She was also awarded the prized “Heart of Gold” award by the Lake Highlands faculty. Rita was a small of stature with a huge heart. She will be greatly missed by the Lake Highlands community. Rita is survived by her only child, Carla Rae Fulton, son-in law James P. Fulton and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be at Restland Funeral Home on Monday, November 25, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held in the Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 26 at 12 noon with a reception following in the Lake Highlands High School auditorium foyer
