Marihelen Fain Jetter's Obituary
Marihelen Fain Jetter, 96, passed away peacefully on New Year’s Day, January 1, 2019, in Highland Village, Texas with her family by her side. She entered the doors of heaven to reside for all eternity with our loving Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ & her sweet husband, Louis Albert Jetter. What a glorious way for her to start the New Year! Being with him again had to be wonderful after being separated, by his death, for 8 long weeks. We know they had the most special New Year’s Day celebration together that they ever had!She was born on December 28, 1922, to her loving and thoughtful parents Earl Pruitt Fain and Mabel Edith Pearl Price Fain in Wichita Falls, Texas. Over her lifetime of nearly 100 years, she experienced so many things and held many roles that she excelled in: Daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother, friend, neighbor, hairdresser, artist, antique collector, realtor, cat breeder, entrepreneur and more.By the grace of God, and many prayers on their behalf, she and her husband did everything they needed to do, to be sure they would be together for time and all eternity. Their love story is real. So real, that when one left, the other soon followed. All the desires of their hearts came to fruition, as they both faced the toughest challenges they would ever have to face in their lives, together. Illness truly makes you realize your mortality… along with all the other things that you would like to accomplish, before you pass from this mortal probation into life everlasting. Making sacred covenants with God, ranked highest on their list, and they made sure they accomplished all that they needed to do to return to Him.Marihelen was cared for over the past 5 years by her daughter Robin, and loving caregivers who lived in the home. She lived with dignity and died with the dignity she deserved. It was the most important thing in this life that her daughter wanted for her. Once she completed all she was sent here to do, she returned to her Heavenly Father to report… “It is done. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith”. And on the other side, we can hear him saying to her, “Today you will be with me in Paradise.” And when she entered heaven through the veil… there was her husband, reaching out to greet her and give her the long-awaited embrace and kiss she had been missing so very much. She will be sincerely missed by her loving family, devoted friends and all the wonderful individuals who knew and loved her.Marihelen is survived by her three daughters: Francis LaRee Bryant, Michele Joy Emerson- Roberts (Charles) and Robin Harris Hurlbut (William). Grandchildren: Laura Sue Cranford, Kevin Kifer (Helen), Stacy Dee Emerson, Christina Katherine Hurlbut, and Michael William Hurlbut (C. Bailey). Great-grandchildren: Shonda Britton and Kristen Cranford, Alex Emerson, and 8 great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Earl Pruitt & Mabel Edith Fain, and one brother Herbert Elman Fain, better known as Buster; and two grandsons: Garry Lynn Holt and Tracy Dean Nieman.A special thank you to her caregivers for all the gentle love, devotion and kindness shown over the past 5 years.Visitation for Marihelen Fain Jetter will be held on Sunday, January 6, 2019 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Restland Funeral Home.
