Marilyn Grayce Fugit Beard's Obituary
Marilyn Grayce Fugit Beard, 91, of Little Elm, Texas passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on January 4, 2025, following a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's Disease. She was born on December 16, 1933, in Wichita, Kansas to William Marvin Fugit and Mabel Duncan Berry.
She is survived by sons Stephen Beard (wife Elizabeth), Darrell Beard (wife Diana), Daughter-in-law Eileen Beard, Brother Phil Fugit (wife Nancy), and Brother- in-law Robert Beard.
Also surviving are grandchildren: Taylor Beard, Hayden Beard (wife Allyson), Leah Beard, and Nieces Sarah Verdegaal (husband Mike) and Lisa Jamison (husband Craig). Along with several great nieces and nephews.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her loving husband of 44 years William (Billy) Paul Beard, Brother Dwayne Fugit, Son Gary Beard, and Grandson Ryan Wesley Beard.
Marilyn was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She loved all of her boys immensely. She was an avid lover of dancing, music, baseball, cooking, flowers and wine!
Celebration of Life will be held in Restland Memorial Chapel on Monday, January 13. 2025 at 10:30 am prior to the Celebration of Life there will be a visitation at 9:30 am
