Marilyn Joy Brown's Obituary
Marilyn Joy Brown, age 88, passed peacefully on January 27, 2023, in Dallas, Texas. She was born to Clint Murrell Wright and Lois Carolyn Wright on December 23, 1934.
Marilyn was a passionate educator. She was also a strong leader who served two terms as Regent of the James Campbell Chapter for the Daughters of the American Revolution in Dallas, Texas.
Marilyn is preceded in death by her husband Hugh Max Brown. She will be lovingly remembered by her two daughters: Kim Hellums (Larry) and Karren Clinch (Geoff); 6 grandchildren: Ryan Hellums (Payne); Garrett Hellums (Tyanne); Jordan Hellums (Marykate); Hope Hellums (Cisco); Chad Clinch (Kelley); and Alyssa Clinch and 9 great grandchildren: Hudson and Hendrix Hellums, Emmalyn and Harper Hellums, Khloey, Christian and Kashten Rodriguez and Austin and Brooks Clinch.
Marilyn leaves her loved ones with unforgettable memories. She will be sincerely missed by her loving family and devoted friends. A private family service will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at Restland Cemetery in Dallas, Texas.
