Marilyn Rae Brusilow's Obituary
Marilyn lived a great long life, was a great wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was born December 24, 1925 in Sutter Creek, CA and passed March 13, 2020 in Dallas, TX. Marilyn was an instrumental part of her husband Anshel's music career initially as a solo violinist, the concertmaster of major symphony orchestras and later as a music professor and conductor. She lovingly raised three children and found time to volunteer and, more importantly lead the faith journey as Christians. She was a dedicated and active member of Schreiber United Methodist Church in Dallas and served in every position in the United Methodist Women's Group at Schreiber. She was a lay reader, taught Sunday school, and loved her faith and church family. Marilyn is survived by three children: David Brusilow, Jennie Brusilow Smith, and Mindy Brusilow McIntyre; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Andrew United Methodist Church or Richardson Symphony Orchestra.
