Marilyn Kuhl Burdick's Obituary
Burdick, Marilyn Kuhl ,84 of Garland Texas, precious wife, mother, grandmother and friend went to be with her Savior on September 11th, 2012. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ann Scales Kuhl and Ira Kuhl; daughter, Susan Forbes; and granddaughter, Shari Forbes Dean. She leaves behind her husband, Richard; daughter, Sheryl Mullins and husband, Hal all of Garland Texas. Son, Randy Burdick and wife, Davina of Lakeland Florida. Five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends. She graduated from Monte Cassino High School in her beloved Tulsa Oklahoma and was a student and huge fan of Oklahoma State University. She was very proud of her Cherokee heritage. She loved her church and was a strong supporter of the missions projects there along with the mission efforts of the Southern Baptist Convention. Marilyn’s family is especially grateful to the San Remo health facility and especially the care givers on the 600 and 700 wing, who took such good care of her and our family. Services will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday, September 15, 2012 at First Baptist Church, Garland. Visitation will be 1 hour prior. Internment at Restland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers gifts may be given to “The Friendship House” at FBC Garland
