Marilyn Frey's Obituary
Marilyn Jane Hildebrand Frey who was born March 29, 1930, in Blue Island, Illinois to Paul and Ida Hildebrand. Marilyn was a retired special education teacher’s aid for Spring Valley Elementary School. She was a member of 1st Presbyterian Church from 1963 where she participated in Book Review and Bible Study Circle. Marilyn’s husband, Herb, was a die-hard Chicago Cubs fan. This love of the Cubs rubbed off on Marilyn and she too became an avid Cubs fan. Marilyn is preceded in death by her parents, sisters Marion and Lucille and beloved husband, Herbert, whom she married on June 16, 1951. She is survived by a son, Kyle H. Frey and daughter Kristin M. Faulk, nephew Stephen Paluski and family, nephew Gary Dalke and family and nieces Linda Dalke and Sherry Jordan. Memorials may be made to 1st Presbyterian Church. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at 10:00 AM in The Abbey Chapel at Restland Funeral Home.
