Marilyn Pickrell Moran's Obituary
Passed away peacefully on July 23, 2015 at the age of 93. She attended Lindenwood College and graduated with degrees in botany and chemistry from Iowa State University. Marilyn’s natural green thumb delighted her family and allowed her to grow anything. Her husband of 64 years, Eugene Moran and her brothers Marc Pickrell and Dee Jay Pickrell preceded her in death. Marilyn is survived by her two daughters, Marcia Moran Ellis and Gretchen Moran Best; her son-in-law Rory Best; and grandchildren, Stephen Ellis, Molly Ellis, Meredith Best Sembello and husband Colin Sembello. The family plans a small private service.
