Marilyn Ann Paschal's Obituary
Marilyn Ann Paschal passed away early Saturday, November 28th surrounded by her children, after a short but courageous battle with melanoma; she was just 62 years old.
Marilyn was born September 15, 1958 in Dallas, Texas to Lois and Albert. Marilyn graduated from W.W. Samual High School. Growing up she enjoyed spending summers at Cedar Creek Lake, loved horses and competed in barrel racing. Marilyn was a devoted mother to her two children, Melissa and RJ. After a 10-year courtship, Marilyn married the love of her life, Bill in 1998.
Marilyn was a caring and dedicated mother and Nana. She loved to travel, taking numerous cruises with family and friends. Most of all she loved watching her grandchildren play sports and perform. She had a giving heart and helped countless people throughout her life. She was known for her caring nature, ability to comfort and make you laugh and a serious love of Elvis and the “happiest place on Earth”, Disney.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bill; her parents Lois and Albert; siblings Jimmy and Sandy, and nephew, JT. She is survived by her children: Melissa and her husband Jarrod, and their children Hailey, Savannah and Bryce; RJ and his wife, Lisa, and their children Audrey and Brayden; sisters Sharon and her husband Alan, Karen and her husband Dave, along with nine nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Marilyn’s life on Sunday, December 6th at two o’clock in the afternoon at Restland Funeral Home in Dallas, TX. There will be a visitation on Saturday, December 5th from three o’clock in the afternoon until five pm at Restland Funeral Home.
