Marilyn Jean Rigsby's Obituary
Marilyn Jean Rigsby, beloved wife, mother, Memaw, and friend peacefully left our physical world on April 30, 2021 to join her late husband, Ronny Rudell Rigsby, in heaven. She was born May 5, 1937 in Alda, Nebraska to parents Curtis E. Lewton and Verna Deane Lewton. She grew up in Vickery, Texas with her siblings Alice Allen, Richard Lewton, and Robert Lewton, who preceded her in death. She found her passions in art, rollerskating, roller hockey, and cooking as she grew up. In 1960, she married the love of her life; they were married 47 years until the time of his death in 2007.
The joy of her life was her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter Brenda Williams of Wylie, TX, Tim Rigsby and wife Shawna of Flower Mound, TX, and Kathy Ryan and husband Scott of Allen, TX. Through her children, she was gifted with many grandchildren: Spencer Williams and wife Tori, Travis Williams and wife Brittany, Katie Christopherson and husband Chris, Kristie Weeks and husband Kris, Ashley Cantrell and husband Josh, Amanda Cline and husband Alex, Ryan Rigsby and wife Ashley, Mackenzie, Mitchell, and Alison Ryan. She was also blessed with 13 great-grandchildren: Grady, Gavin, and Olivia Williams, Wade Williams, Blake and Madison Christopherson, Klaire Weeks, Sparrow, Saylor, Stori, and Harper Cantrell, and Charlotte and Harrison Cline. She touched the lives of many people, all of whom will miss her dearly.

Services for Marilyn will be private to family. A live streaming of the service will be available to view at 11:45 am Friday.
