In Loving Memory of Marilyn Sue Taylor
Marilyn Sue Taylor, age 77, entered into the presence of our Lord and Savior on July 27, 2026.
Born on June 6, 1949, in Dallas, Texas, Marilyn lived a life marked by love, laughter, and compassion. She was truly a kid at heart, with a playful spirit that brought smiles to everyone she met. Whether she was singing, dancing, creating art, or spending time with the people she loved, Marilyn found joy in life's simple moments. She also had a special love for animals and never missed an opportunity to show them kindness.
A longtime member of Meadowbrook Baptist Church, Marilyn's faith was a guiding light throughout her life. Her family finds comfort in knowing she is now at peace with our Lord and Savior and reunited in Heaven with her beloved mother, Patricia Hopkins, who was not only her mother but also her best friend.
Nothing brought Marilyn greater happiness than her family. She is lovingly survived by her son, Toby Furrh, and his children, Shelby and Eli; her daughter, Sandy Hammond and husband, David Hammond, and their sons, Jacob, Johnathan, and Joseph; and her daughter, Kelly Canchola and husband, Ernesto Canchola, and their daughters, Abagail and Madeline. Her love, encouragement, and joyful spirit will remain a treasured part of their lives.
Marilyn will be remembered for the happiness she shared so freely. She had a gift for making people laugh, helping them smile, and reminding them not to take life too seriously. Her warmth, kindness, and childlike joy left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.
While her family deeply mourns her passing, they rejoice in God's promise of eternal life and find peace in knowing Marilyn is healed, whole, and home with her Savior.

Marilyn will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of her family and friends, who will carry her love, laughter, and joyful spirit with them always.
