Mariolyn G Campbell's Obituary
Mariolyn Gannaway Campbell died unexpectedly in her home on November 2, 2020 in Wylie, TX at the age of 79.
Mariolyn is survived by her loving husband of 42 years Glenn Campbell, son Kelly Ross of Arlington, TX, daughter Barbara Mathis and wife LaDonna Nadir of Rockwall, Darrell Campbell and wife Malissa, Danny Campbell and wife Shiela both of Rowlett and Glenna Berry and husband Steve of Tool, TX. Grandchildren, Christopher Ross, Starr Rotenberry, Zachary Mathis, Jerryme Mathis, Sarah Bradford, Rafael Arredondo, Bradley Campbell, Jennifer Casey, Danielle Skelton and Ryan Campbell and a total of 12 Great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her parents Elbert and Frances Gannaway, siblings George Gannaway, Jack Gannaway, Bill Gannaway, Joyce Thomas and grandchild Scott Campbell.
Mariolyn was born on November 21, 1940 in Pine Bluff, AR to Elbert and Francis Gannaway. She graduated from Pine Bluff High school in 1959. She married Glenn Campbell, on February 10, 1979. Her children remember her as a kind mother who encouraged all of her children to follow their dreams.
Marioyln was an accomplished Mahjong player and played weekly with friends. She was a generous and compassionate mother and grandmother who was always available to her family. She was an active and dedicated member of First Baptist Church of Rockwall.
A funeral is scheduled for November 10, 2020 at Restland Funeral Home, with a reception to follow at 544 Tall Oaks Pl, Rockwall, TX 75087. Brother in Law Hank Thomas will officiate the ceremony.
