O’DELL, MARION L. ‘Mama Dee’ The celebration of the life of Marion L. O’Dell will be held Tuesday, May 13th, at 4:00PM at St. Michael’s and All Angels Episcopal Church, St. Michael’s Chapel. ‘Mama Dee’ was born January 23, 1912 and left this earth May 7, 2008. She was ‘Commander in Charge’ until her final days. Marion is survived by her daughter Lila Soelter and husband David, her grandchildren Shari and Tracy Lanham, Judy and Mike Spiva, Diane and Richard Camarillo, Paul Akins her loving caretaker for many years, Geri Shaw, Anne and Doug Johnson, Michael and Terri Akins, and Cindy Clinco. Eleven great grandchildren, and one great, great granddaughter. Preceded in death by daughter Ardith E. Akins. The family asks in lieu of flowers, that memorials be made to St. Michael’s and All Angels Episcopal Church in honor of Marion L.O’Dell, 8011 Douglas Ave, Dallas, TX 75225 or to a charity of your choice.
