Marion H. Taylor's Obituary
Taylor, Marion was born to Howard N. and Florence F. Humble in Cleveland, Ohio. She met her husband Irby in the Cleveland FBI office during World War II. After the war, they moved to Dallas. Marion, blessed with a zeal for life, participated in many activities. She was past member of Northwood Country Club where she golfed and played tennis, and was an active member of the North Dallas Area Womens’ Club where participated in the thespian group, bridge, and bunco. She was also learning Mah Jongg and was a regular at Curves and Tai Chi. She had a remarkable artistic streak that showed in everything she did from working in oils, clay, sewing and acting to writing poems, plays, and stories. Her outgoing personality attracted many dear friends. She was funny and happy and will be sorely missed by all. Marion is survived by her daughter Patty and her husband Bob Canavan and their daughters, Kelly and Katie; her son Tom and his wife Marla and their daughter Lisa and her husband Chris Kelly and their children Caitlin and Josh. A celebration of life will be held at 12:30 PM on Wednesday September 26, 2012 at Wildwood Chapel. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to your favorite charity or The Irby N. and Marion H.
