Marjorie was a wonderful lady! I worked with her from 1996- 2000 at the Park Forest Library where I was the Clerical Supervisor. Before meeting Marjorie I thought older people were fragile, and didnt have much of a sense of humor; as I was not raised around older people at all. She changed all that for me! She had a delightfully whimsical sense of humor. And, when she came in to volunteer, she always had a joke to tell me, and they would always crack me up! I left Park Forest Library sometime around 2000, and I have not seen Mrs. Brown, (As we called her) since then. I hate that I'm just now hear of her passing. My condolences to her family. My maiden surname was Brown, and we had many conversations about name origins. She was a delightful lady, and a real bright spot at Park Forest Library. I will remember her fondly, always.
