Although my encounters with her were only while you and Laura were at A&M, I always looked forward to seeing her there as it was always such a delightful experience- what a kind and gracious person! Dear, kind Marjorie was always so solicitous of everyone else's welfare! She would greet us personally and give us a hug at prayer meetings or other Community events, and always inquire about our adult son and family, whom she had known since he was a baby. Her faith in God was strong and she was a real prayer warrior. Her sense of humor was always uplifting, as she would give others a word of encouragement. She enjoyed a good laugh as much as anyone…a necessary trait being married to John! When she could join the Music Ministry in singing, she had a voice of an angel. Hello, I was a client and friend of Kenneth's until I moved to Maui a few years back. Kenneth and Marjorie were planning a lovely cruise to New Zealand with a stop in Maui! He had told me that he had to talk Marjorie into taking the cruise because it was a bit costly. Glad he got his way! I had the pleasure of meeting them on their stop in Maui where we had a wonderful lunch together. Other than almost causing them to miss the ship's departure, we had a delightful time, ha ha!
