Marjorie Dale Hawkins' Obituary
Marjorie Dale Hawkins, 84 passed away from from this earth into the hands of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ surrounded by loved ones on Wednesday, June 8th 2016. Marjorie was preceeded in death by her parents, Son, Stanley B. Hawkins Daughter, Melony J. Hawkins. Born in Cameron, Texas, Marjorie lived in Austin, Texas a number of years where she met her beloved Husband Marvin J. Hawkins. They married July 5, 1949. Jack and Marjorie settled in Dallas, Texas and finally retiring to Weatherford, Texas. Marjorie was a devout Christian and a life long member of the Church of Christ, most recently the South Main Church of Christ in Weatherford. Marjorie was able to travel to many places and do many things that made her happy and lead a fulfilling life. Marjorie was a devoted wife , Mother and Grandmother and will be dearly missed by all. Survivors: Children Larry D. Hawkins of Dallas, Jim A. Hawkins of Weatherford, Cindy G. Garrett and Son in law Ronnie L. Garrett of Weatherford, 8 Grandchildren, 11 Great Grandchildren and 5 Great Great Grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends an hour prior tho the service. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at 3 PM in The Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Graveside Service will be held after the Funeral Services. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted into Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75243.
