Marjorie Clair Roberts' Obituary
ROBERTS, MARJORIE PLOTT Born August 1, 1918 in Maggie Valley, NC and passed away September 24, 2008 in Grapevine, TX. After her early schooling in North Carolina, she attended and graduated from The School of Nursing at Newark Hospital in New Jersey as a Registered Nurse. She was also registered in Texas and was employed at Baylor Hospital and Doctor’s Hospital in Dallas before retiring in 1980. Marjorie was a member of White Rock United Methodist Church in Dallas and active in their Cub & Boy Scout program for some time. She was a World War II Veteran serving as a nurse in the U.S. Navy as a Lieutenant. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Eugene in 2006. She is survived by sons & daughters-in-laws, James P. & Kelly Roberts of Southlake, TX, Kenneth E. & Luci Roberts of Acworth, GA and five grandchildren. Services will be held 10:00 AM, Monday, September 29, 2008 at DFW National Cemetery.
