Marjorie Amelia Thomason's Obituary
Marjorie Amelia Thomason was born on November 4, 1921 at the Cross Farm in Winnebago County, Wisconsin. She passed away on March 30, 2017 in Plano, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Carroll Thomason; by her parents, Arthur J. and Ada S. Cross; and by her brother, James H. Cross. Marjorie is survived by her four daughters; Marcia Thompson, Lana (Norman) Snowden, Charlynn MacGregor, and Cathy (Mike) Filis; nine grandchildren; Carol Fowler, Michael Thompson, Samantha Bayat, Norm Snowden, Kelly Wooldridge, Sarah Payne, John Filis, Casey Daniel, and Lauren Filis; and seventeen great-grandchildren. Marjorie was a graduate of Oshkosh State Teachers College. She had a teaching job for a short period of time before marrying Charles C. Thomason in June 1943. She moved to Texas after her husband completed his service with the United States Army. The service for Marjorie Thomason will be held at 12:30 PM, Tuesday, April 4, 2017 in The Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in memory of Marjorie Thomason at http://www.alz.org/greaterdallas Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243.
