I unfortunately did know of Mark’s passing until a few months after. Mark and I worked together as therapists on the weekend. He was my favorite person to work with and we always had fun. We would always have lunch together at Griffs and talk about our lives and he would tell me about his girls as well as his wife. Mark helped me get through a very hard time in my life when I was going through a divorce. He empowered me , reminded me that I was worth more than I believed at times, and that life was just getting started. I miss him still.

I didn’t know Mr.Prine very well at all, but every morning that I saw him open the gate up at PAC he opened it with a smile on his face.

I am a former Co-Worker of Mr. Prine. I am proud I got the opportunity to meet and work with you. In my eyes you were a legend, full of knowledge and wisdom. You always spoke your mind and had a great story to tell. You made me laugh and smile. I always enjoyed hearing you say: Mrs. Patterson the train is about to jump the tracks… I remember when you got your counseling job at Pathfind. You said: Patterson, I by passed the head of Counseling. I went straight to the Principal and told him I was here for the job. And just like that, he knew you were the man for the job. I will never forget our last days together at Lyles M. S. You walked right into your dream job. Rest In Heaven my friend. You did the work. You didn’t just run the race, You won the race. ??

Mr. Prine was one of my favorite teachers at Lyles. I remember he once told me had a calling to teach there. We worked many years together and he was just such a fun teacher and the kids really liked him a lot. I am saddened that he is gone, but know he is in a better place.

I will never forget this man. In my first year of teaching, he was my mentor. I’ll never forget his wise words about taking care of our students, but also making sure to take care of yourself. I enjoyed being across the hall from him, talking every day and lesson planning with cheesy puffs from the gas station! LOLHis professional legacy is being passed on through other educators he has worked with and through the students he has impacted. Mr. Prine will forever be remembered and loved!!

I worked with Mark Prine at a school with challenging students. I learned something new about myself every single day I worked with Mark. He truly loves all people and inspired others to do the same. Mark lives in the hearts, minds and souls of everyone he touched. His memory will live in all the people he touched as long as we pay his genuine love for others forward. I have hundreds of memories of “Mister Prine” that I can’t share because of our students privacy rights and the nature of the work done at the school. Mark inspired me to be a better man, be a better teacher and to know what’s important in life. He will always live in my heart.
