Mark Reid's Obituary
Rudolph Marquis Reid Jr (Mark) was born on November 24, 1929 in Birmingham, Alabama and passed away August 29, 2014 in Mineola, Texas. Mark served in the Air Force from 1950-1954. He received his BBA in Industrial Management and MBA from SMU. Mark retired from E-Systems in 1989 after working there for 28 years. He was an active member of the American Legion and the Genealogical Society. Mark was devoted to his wife, children, and grandchildren and he will be remembered by his wife, Lois; daughter, April Hadley and husband, Rick of Houston; daughter, Melanie Dorociak and husband, Barry of Garland; grandchildren, Erin Bush and husband, Brian, Sarah Hadley, Brittney White, and Andrew Hadley and wife, Annie. A memorial service for Mark will be held Saturday, September 6 at 11:00 AM at Lake Country Bible Church in Mineola, Texas. Mark’s family will receive friends on Sunday, September 7, 2014 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home in Dallas. Funeral services for Mark will be held on Monday, September 8, 2014 at 11:00 AM at The Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lake Country Bible Church, 1402 N. Pacific St., Mineola, TX 75773.
