Mark and his family were dear friends of ours when I was a young girl. We would often go and visit them at their house. Our moms shared a special friendship of their culture. And Pizza Villa in Ridgewood Center was a frequent spot for us. Mark was a few years older than me but would always be kind and entertain me while the parents visited. Mark you were a sweetheart of a guy and I'm sure everyone that met you knew that. Thank you for the wonderful memories of the trampoline, doggies and the scary horror 8mm films we would watch in your room that scared me so bad :) And thank for keeping a family pizza place alive for as long as you did. Rest In Peace Mark.
Man O man! I'm an so saddened by Mark's passing. I lost contact with Mark after the family business closed.
I knew Mark from the early days of the Richardson store. Starting in the late 70's, we use to always compare our latest cars. Tell lies about the close calls. Later on his girl Shelly became a fixture at his side as well as her son.
Myself and my close friends made almost weekly stops by for a meal. Many days I would just stop by to grab and go and eat on the run.
Man O Man. So sad! My prayers go out to all your family and friends my brother.
