Marliyn Larner Miller's Obituary
Born January 1, 1930, in Tulsa Oklahoma and passed away November 12, 2017, in Dallas, Texas.Preceded in death by, her parents, George and Grace Larner.Survived by Sister, Carol Dene Eagan, Children, Marci Hall and husband Doug, Brian Miller, and Cheryl McConnell and husband Bill. Grandchildren, Ryan, Tyler, Matthew and Grace McConnell, and Stuart Hall.Marilyn grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma and moved to Dallas as a teenager. She went to Woodrow Wilson High School and returned to Oklahoma to graduate from Tulsa University. She worked as an a dental assistant for Dr. Wester as a young adult. She married Edward B. (Bud) Miller and they raised three children- Marci, Brian, and Cheryl. Though the marriage ended in divorce, the family spent many good years together. Family vacations and holidays were the best! Marilyn worked for the East Dallas Chamber of Commerce and Tuesday Morning before retiring due to health issues. Above all else, Marilyn was a woman of strong faith in the Lord. Softly and tenderly Jesus has called her home.A graveside service will be on Friday, November 17 at 3 PM in Restland Cemetery.
