Marque Nelson Sr.,'s Obituary
NELSON, MARQUE age 86, of Richardson, Texas passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2013 in Alexandria, Virginia. He was born on September 12, 1926. He married June Nelson in Tulsa, Oklahoma and they had 3 children. He attended Tulsa University and graduated with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration. He served in the Army and is a veteran of WWII. He was a long-time resident of Richardson Texas. Retired from a career in business and sales, he was also active as a leader in church, community and social affairs. in his retirement years, he served 20 years as chairman of his neighborhood crime watch, and for 10 years as chairman of the Plano Senior Center dance committee. Marque will be remembered by his loving wife and their children. Relatives and friends are invited to a funeral for Marque at 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at Restland Wildwood Chapel with visitation 1 hour prior. Burial will follow at Restland Memorial Park.
