Marshall J Allen's Obituary
On October 19, 2022, Marshall J Allen made his transition to be with our Father in heaven.
Marshall was born on March 24,1939 in Leesburg, Texas to Jessie and Myrtle Allen. His family was blessed with 14 children,
At a drive-in in North Dallas, he met his sweetheart Meda Willis. They were inseparable until his final breath. They were married for 60 plus years. From this union came three children, Debra (Arnett), Maurice (Leslie), Robert (Glenda). He leaves to celebrate his life his beautiful wife, his children, granddaughters: Meda (Ivan), Jessica, Terrie, and Danielle, grandsons: Michael and Maurice. Great grandchildren: Jordyn, Briana, Kaitlyn, Evan, and Paul III. His sisters Helen, Glenda, Jackie, Gwen, brothers: Billy, Leon, Truie Lee, and Maurice, a host of nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Howard Earl, Jessie, Maceo, sisters: Ethelyn, Geraldine, and Eva Marie.
During his life, he enjoyed spanking people in dominoes with his brother Billy. He loved playing spades. He was very competitive and loved winning. He would not let you sleep until he won. He enjoyed his employment in various roles in the Automobile industry, especially with Steakley and Friendly Chevrolet.
He was a man of God. His favorite scripture was John 3:16. Even while he was battling his sickness, he remained faithful to God until he was called home. Heaven has received Marshall Allen.
Services for Mr. Marshall Allen will be held at 11am Wednesday, October 26, 2022, at Greater Mt. Olive Family Church located at 3731 Magdeline St. ,Dallas, TX 75212. A visitation will be held prior on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, between 6p-8p at Restland Funeral Home.
