Marshall Kevin Flowers' Obituary
It is with deep and heavy sadness that we announce the death of Marshall Kevin Flowers, who passed on October 25th, at Baylor Hospital in Carrollton TX, after a long battle with lung cancer. Marshall was born January 24, 1953, in Dallas, TX, and lived in Dallas and Mesquite throughout his life. He spent many years working in the family business and then worked for Dal-Tile for over ten years where he made some special friendships until he was no longer able to work. He spent his remaining days caring for his chickens and birds and being a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Marshall is preceded in death by his daughter Rachel Flowers, mother Nelda, father Roy E. Flowers Jr., sister Bobbie Glasgow, and brother Roy E Flowers III. Marshall leaves behind his wife of 43 years Alisa Thornton Flowers, son Roy Flowers and wife Katrina Flowers, daughter Stacey Flowers and her husband Sergio Leija, and three special women that he loved like daughters Xochitl Harris, Samantha Avila and Miranda Mormon. Also surviving him are his most precious treasures, grandchildren Sid 18, Seth 14, Sergio 9, Sebastian 8, Star 8, Roy Jr 7, Savannah 7, Adah 5, Rachel 5, Olivia 1, Mason 8 months, and two nephews that he was very proud of, Clint Glasgow and wife Sara, and Kevin Glasgow and wife Shelly, and lots of great nephews. He was loved by many and loved so many special people in his lifetime like his sister-in- law Sandy Thornton, as well as, Consuelo and Jorge Avila, Brian Lee, TJ Allen, Niko Hickman, Julie Zavala, Pedro Lucio, Brian and Fernando Perez, Joanna Maltezos. Words cannot begin to describe the pain of losing someone as special as Marshal. He loved to laugh and play jokes on people. He was always the first to help if he could, and many will truly miss him.
