Martha Cooke's Obituary
Rev. John B. Cooke lost his best friend and lifelong love on October 28, 2011, but he knows she is in Heaven waiting for him. Martha “Suzy” Shipp Cooke was born on September 27, 1923, and went to see her Savior peacefully. She was loved and respected by friends and family. A ministers wife for 68 years, she was a blessing to all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her son; John, and survived by her loving husband John “Bunny” Cooke; daughters, Cray and husband Hank, Carla and husband Charles, Cindy and husband Danny; grandsons, Chris, Jeremy, and Jeff; sister, Stelloise; and numerous nieces and nephews. We will all miss you Mimi. Memorial service will be at a later date.
