Martha Elizabeth Fox's Obituary
FOX, MARTHA “MARTY” ELIZABETH, 88, of Dallas, TX passed away on September 27, 2011. A memorial service will be held at 11:30am, Saturday, October 15th at Restland Memorial Chapel. Marty was born in April 1923 in Lexington, North Carolina. She moved to Dallas after serving in the Army as a nurse in World War II. She married Ed Fox and raised their son, Cam, while pursuing her nursing career. She was active in the church and participated in several philanthropic groups as long as her health permitted. She is survived by her son, Cam. Marty requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. She will be missed.
