Martha Jane Evans' Obituary
Martha Jane Evans was born on February 5, 1937 in Wills Point, Texas to Willis and Myrtis Worsham. She passed away on August 26, 2014 in Plano, Texas. Preceded in death by her father, Willis Marvin Worsham and her mother, Myrtis Pauline (Glover) Worsham. Martha is survived by her daughter, Holly Dawn Evans; son-in-law, Chris Evans; grandson, Brandon Evans; her sister, Linda Kattner; brother-in-law, Harold Kattnew; her brother, Robert Worsham and wife, Dianne Worsham; and numerous nieces and nephews. Martha was known as “Sisi” by family. She loved the book, “Jesus Calling”. She was a great cook, baking pies and cakes, loved antiques, and loved her family dearly. She would do anything for her friends. Family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm on Friday, August 29, 2014 at Restland Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, August 30, 2014 at Walnut Hill Church of Christ in Dallas. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Christ Haven Children’s Home, 4200 Keller-Haslet Road, Keller, TX 76244. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75238.
