Martha Lanell Huett's Obituary
Born in Courtney, Texas in 1916, Lanell Huett went home peacefully on April 26 to be with the Lord Jesus Christ. A remarkable loving and Christian woman, Lanell was cherished by all. Preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Myrtle Crossman; sisters, Ruby Bowyer, Ometa Downing. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, John H. Huett, her children, Larry and Karen Farris and by grandchildren she considered the light of her life, Mark and Cyndi Farris, Angie and Brent Wilkins, Tracey and Bill Wallace, great grandchildren, Kim and Nathan Lee, great great granddaughter Jessica Lee and by a host of nieces and nephews, all of whom loved her dearly. She was a member of Park Cities Baptist church and a active participant in Berans Sunday School class. Services will be held at 12:30pm Tuesday, April 29, 2008 at Restland Wildwood Chapel. Dr. Jack Martin officiating. Family visitation will be at 5:00-7:00pm Monday, April 28, 2008 at Restland Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Park Cities Baptist Church. She was the perfect example of the fruits of the spirit; love, joy, peace and patience and kindness. She will always be remembered by family and friends for the gift of love and kindness shown throughout her life.
