Martha Lynne Krouse's Obituary
Martha Lynne (Richardson) Krouse, age 84, passed peacefully into the arms of our Heavenly Father on Friday, September 3, 2021, at Faith Presbyterian Hospice in Dallas, Texas, surrounded by family and her closest friends.
Martha was born in Kansas City, Kansas to John William and Mary Mildred Richardson on June 20, 1937. In 1956 she married the love of her life, Jim. Together they raised 3 children, who gave them 5 grandchildren. Martha prided herself on being a "cool grandma"! Her children took pride in her being a phenomenal mother and friend!
Martha and Jim loved to travel the country in their RV, and Martha even got to finish seeing all 50 states with Jim before his death in 2002. She later enjoyed many cruise vacations with her family, visiting many European and Caribbean ports.
Martha was preceded in death by husband Jimmie Earl Krouse, parents Mary Mildred and John Richardson, and sister Nancy Ann Studstill. She is survived by her three children: Michael Krouse and wife Christy, Nancy Lott and Carol Perry, Laura Krouse and husband Silas Griggs; five grandchildren: Jason Lott, Kevin Krouse and wife Ashley, Joshua Lott, Lauren Krouse, and Andrew Krouse; and her brother Jim Waters, as well as countless lifelong friends.
A Funeral Service will be held at Wildwood Chapel at 10:00am on Saturday, September 11, 2021, located at Restland Cemetery, 13005 Greenville Ave., Dallas, Texas, 75243. There will be an hour visitation prior to the service at the same location form 9:00am to 10:00am.
