Martha Jo Schmidt, age 97 of Rowlett, Texas, passed away October 9,2023. She was born
October 22,1925, in Dallas to George Kennedy And Dellie ( Griffith) Kennedy. She made her career with Nardis of Dallas. Martha was an active and faithful member of Parkside Baptist Church where she hosted many ladies bible studies. In her leisure time she enjoyed fishing, boating, cooking, sewing and spending time with the family. She was a loyal Dallas Cowboys fan since 1960, she would watch the game to the very end no matter what the score was. Martha was able to spend 77 wonderful years with her late husband. Martha is survived by son: Donald Schmidt Jr. and wife Virginia; grandchildren: Troy Schmidt and wife Canée, Cynthia Carr and husband Christian; great grandchildren: Nicholas and Matteus Schmidt, Peyton, Morgan and Adrienne Carr; 3 nieces and 3 nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Donald Schmidt of 77 years: siblings: George Kennedy Jr. and Lottie Pryor.
She will be sincerely missed by her loving family, devoted friends, and all the wonderful individuals who knew and loved her.
