Martha Lou Shipp, 82, passed away July 31, 2020 in Dallas, TX. She was born October 10, 1937 to Earl A. Wilson and Ina Dozier in Dallas, TX. She was a Floral Designer. She was a member of Historical Society Botanical & Arboretum Dallas. She was a member of Valley Creek Church of Christ 70+ years and Wednesday night teacher 30+ years arranging flowers til present. Loved lunch brunch outings, Bluegrass music, sewing needs volunteer, enjoyed Ladies Red Hat Club and Ladies Bible Class, seeing to the needs of others always before herself most enjoyable thing in life family grandchildren Angela Steward, Brad Rutherford, great grandkids Ivy Martin, Ray Martin, Sky Martin, Niko Rutherford and Dylan Rutherford.
She is survived by daughter Rae Lou Shipp, San Leon, TX, son Sammy Shipp, Dallas, TX, sister Barbara Holmes, Keller, TX, brother Paul Bennett, Greenville, TX.
She was preceded in death by spouse Sammy Ray Shipp and son Dennis Ray Shipp.
Visitation will be Friday, August 7, 2020 at 9:00 AM in the Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be Friday, August 7, 2020 at 10:00 AM in the Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home with a Burial to follow.
