Martha Catherine Smith's Obituary
Age 87 – Come join us to celebrate the life of Martha in a Memorial Service to be held at Restland Memorial Chapel, Greenville Ave. at Walnut St., at 3:30 on Wednesday, November 19. Raised in Dallas and graduated from North Dallas High School in May 1938. Martha worked for Goforth Labs as a Medical Secretary. Martha was predeceased by her husband Wallis M. Smith, her sons Greg and Shandy, her parents Frank and Catherine Weaver and her brother Frank Weaver, Jr. Martha and Wally were charter members of Lovers Lane Methodist Church. In later years lived in Ft. Worth then retired to Alba, Texas and loved their home on Lake Louise. In memory of Martha, donations may be made to Parents Group at Denton State School or Macular Degeneration Society. Survived by her children, Gretchen Smith Cash and husband Stan Szychulski, her son, Frank Smith, sister, Kay Peters, grandchildren Allison West and Clint Cash and great grandson, Cole Kincy. Martha and her family want to express their gratitude for the kind and loving care provided by Loida Bermudez, Mary Miriti and others with the Nurses Today staff.
