Mrs Martha Louise Stewart's Obituary
STEWART, MARTHA LOUISE, peacefully went to be with her Lord and Saviour on January 10, 2008. She was born in Wylie, Texas into a loving family. Her Father, Farrel Williams and Mother, Mary Elizabeth Williams both have preceded her in death. Prior to their death, they gave Martha a wonderful foundation for her growth into adulthood. In addition, Martha’s life was shaped by a set of grandparents whose standards of life were passed along to her. Martha first married a Dallas Banker who died early in their marriage. She then pursued various interests in life including retailing, selling, and eventually, banking. It was in the Republic National Bank where she met her husband of now thirty two years. Martha and Homer Stewart met in 1975 and were married at the Central Christian Church in Dallas. Martha is survived by her husband, Homer L. Stewart, Jr., two daughters, Cynthia Sterrantino and husband, John; Sharon Whitener and husband, Sid; one son, Homer Lockett Stewart III and wife, Rebecca; seven grandchildren, Kimberly Caldwell and husband Andy, Kristen Gusafson and husband Nate, Meagan Gaines, Anne and Matthew Stewart, Joy Rowley and husband Darin, and Scott Sterrantino and wife Nechelle. The Blessings continue with four Great-Grandchildren; Kayla Caldwell, Kate Caldwell, Bailee Grace Gaines, and Brooklyn Rowley. Finally, she is also survived by her sister, Billye (Mrs. Joe) LaBarba, and brother, Charles Williams and his wife Janet. Visitation will be from six to eight PM at Restland Funeral Home on Sunday, January 13. All friends are invited to a Memorial Service at Stonebriar Community Church, 4801 Legendary Drive in Frisco, Texas 75034 on Monday, January 14 at 2:00. Martha has requested that memorials be made to Stonebriar Community Church, or to Insight For Living, P.O. Box 251007, Plano, Texas 75025-1007, or to the Charity of your choice.
