Martia Furlow's Obituary
Martia Furlow was born on August 22, 1940, on the family farm near Gatesville, Texas, to Lloyd and Azalea Kirkpatrick. She passed away on October 18th, 2017, due to natural causes. Martia resided in Dallas for most of her life with her husband of 59 years, John. The things that she enjoyed most in life was spending time with her 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was a loving and generous person. Martia and her husband John were very active in their church community providing communion to the sick and home-bound. She had a very thoughtful, kind and giving heart. She is survived by her husband John, sisters Dian Edwards, Kay Pfluger, Kit Hall and brother Bob Kirkpatrick, children John (& Missy) Furlow, Lynn (& Jim) Russell, Lisa (& Mark) Briley, Gennie (& Tim) Noe, Michelle Furlow, Julie (& Trent) Lyons, 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. A mass and memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 1705 E Peters Colony Rd., Carrollton, TX 75007 on Saturday, October 21, 2017.
