Martin Francis Halupka Jr.'s Obituary
Martin Francis Halupka Jr., age 77, of Richardson, Texas, passed away on Monday, October
21, 2024. He was born in Stockton, California, to Emilea Dragovich and Martin Francis
Halupka Sr.
Martin proudly served his country as a Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War.
He was a devoted husband to the love of his life, Bonnie Lynn Halupka, who survives him.
Together, they built a loving family that brought him immense pride and joy.
Martin will be remembered for his passion for storytelling, his lively conversations about
weather and politics, and his unwavering support of his favorite sports teams—especially
the University of Texas, Ohio State, and the Cleveland Browns. More than anything, he
cherished time spent with his family.
He is survived by his wife Bonnie, his children; Martin III, Tammy, and Mike; his daughters-in-
law, Melody and Lori; his grandchildren; Molly, Martin IV, Matty, Ashley, Kaleb, Kaitlynn, and
Emma; and his great-grandchildren: Liam, William, and Lucas.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at Dallas-Fort Worth
National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas 75211. A viewing will take
place on Monday, November 4, 2024, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Restland Funeral Home, 13005
Greenville Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75243.
