Marvin Ray Nall's Obituary
On Wednesday, November 8, 2023, Marvin “Bully” Ray Nall, loving husband and father of three passed away at the age of 91. Marvin was a talented man who worked as a machinist for over 40 years. He loved to hunt with his brothers and sons in law as well as his lifelong friends from Arkansas. He spent many days fishing for catfish and crappie. He always enjoyed woodworking and could do most anything with his hands.
Above all he loved his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. As his aide, Hope, so eloquently stated “he has taught me many life lessons in his very subtle manner…humility, strength, integrity and family life.” He lived a wonderful life and has raised and influenced generations. We find comfort in knowing that he is reunited with our mom, Anita.
Marvin was born on September 21, 1932, in Greenville, Texas. He served in the Air Force during the Korean War. When he first met Anita at his sister's house he said, “that’s the girl I’m going to marry.” They married six months later and were married for 65 years.
Marvin is survived by his daughters, Jean Webernick and husband Mark, Patsy Lewis and husband Dell and Phyllis Bruner and husband Kenneth, five grandsons and two great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, brothers and sisters.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at 10:00am in the chapel of First Baptist Church, Garland, Tex. In lieu of flowers, please remember him by donating to the charitable organization of
your choice.
