Marvin Vale Riggall's Obituary
Marvin Vale Riggall Sr., age 86 of Garland, Texas was born May 7, 1933 in Beardstown, Illinois to Edwin Riggall and Lucy Riggall and he passed away on September 14, 2019. He married Mary Warren on January 27, 1957. Marvin was a loving father and husband who enjoyed fishing. He enjoyed spending time with family, crossword puzzles and doting on his grandchildren.Marvin served in the army from 1952 to 1955 as a staff SGT/Korean Language Instructor. He was preceded in death by his daughter Helen Keeton. He is survived by his wife Mary Riggall, his son Marvin Jr., and wife Laura of Nevada, Texas, his son John and wife Carol of Wills Point, Texas, his daughter Traci Warren of Garland, Texas. His sisters Ruth Reid of Springfield, Illinois, Wilma Goertz of Beaufort, South Carolina, Ila Callahan of Mechanicburg, Illinos, Annis Gerner of Bakersfield, California. Eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.The service for Marvin Vale Riggall will be Monday, September 23, 2019 at 3:00 pm in the Wildwood Chapel in Restland Cemetery.In Lieu of flowers: Please make donations to Alzheimer Association (ALZ.org)Funeral arrangements for Marvin Vale Riggall have been faithfully entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery, which is located at 13005 Greenville Ave., at the intersection of Restland Road, Dallas, Texas 75243, and can be reached at (972) 238-7111.
