Marvin L. Volcik's Obituary
Marvin Lee Volcik, 75, of Forney, Texas, passed away peacefully at home on November 11, 2020.
Marvin was born October 1, 1945 in Dallas, Texas to Emelie Jakubik and Joe Volcik. He was preceded in death by his parents and by his brothers Frank Volcik and James Volcik.
Marvin was raised in Dallas, Texas and worked for Siemens Corporation for thirty-seven years before his long-awaited retirement.
Marvin is survived by his sister Joann Pinson of Dallas, Texas; children Jennifer and Greg Garcia of Terrell, Texas, Mark and Staci Volcik of Crandall, Texas , and Ashley Volcik and George Teveni of Forney, Texas; grandchildren Madison Volcik, Noah Garcia, Caiden Garcia, Elijah Teveni, Emma Volcik, Owen Garcia, Nevaeh Teveni, and Elise Garcia.
Marvin was a dedicated fan of the Dallas Cowboys and spent his free time watching their games. He loved playing pool and was a member of local competitive leagues. He looked forward to visiting the State Fair of Texas every year. At home he stayed busy growing plentiful summer gardens.
A memorial service for Marvin is planned for Tuesday, December 1 at 10 a.m. at Restland Wildwood Chapel 13003 Greenville Ave, Dallas, TX 75243.
