Mary Alice Barnes' Obituary
Mary Alice Barnes, 87, of Mesquite, Texas, passed away on Monday, February 27th. Born in Seymour, Texas, she was the daughter of her parents, John and Lilly Worrell. And her late husband of 30 years, Eugene Barnes of Mesquite, Texas. She is survived by her; son and daughter, Roger Snyder and wife, Peggy of Lantana, TX and Ginger Snyder-Speed and her fiancé Scott McKie of Lewisville, TX; five grandchildren, Stephanie Barral and husband James, Spencer Speed and his significant other Victoria Groza, Chandler Speed and wife Kayla, Tammy Blake and husband Chris, Ricky Bettis and wife Melissa and seven great-grandchildren, Madison Barral, Jaydyn Barral, Destiny Blake, Kellie Blake, LeAnne Blake, Harleigh Bettis and Savannah Bettis. Viewing services will be conducted at the Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home at 9:00 a.m. Friday, March 3, 2017, services will follow at 10:00 a.m. at the Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home, with Rev. James O’Dell officiating. A graveside service will be conducted at after the services Friday at Restland Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. at Roger and Peggy Snyder’s home located at: 9125 Penny Lane, Lantana, TX 76226. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Association of Greater Dallas, 3001 Knox Street #200, Dallas, Texas 75205. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243.
