Mary Ruth Allen's Obituary
Psalm 23:1-3
“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in
green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my
soul: He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.”
Mary Ruth Allen of Texas was born in Pickton to A.B. Alfold and Claire
Harrelson passed away on October 15, 2025. Married to Robert Lee
Allen on June 18, 1953.
Preceded in death by spouse Robert Lee Allen, siblings Harvey Alford,
Jerry Alford, Leo Alford, Truman Alford and Marjorie Gilmer; and
granddaughter Darla Elaine Prudhomme-Pollard.
Survived by children Vickie Pollard spouse Robert Pollard and Gerald
Allen spouse Kathy Allen, Grandchildren Betheny Hargrove spouse
Thomas Hargrove, Brandon Allen, Brett Allen and Benjamin Allen.
Great-grandchildren Daphnee Elizabeth Schlittler, Darla Elayne
Schlittler, Landon Hargrove and Aydon Hargrove. Sister Frances
Wheeler spouse Johnnie Wheeler.
The family is grateful for the love, prayers and support from many
friends and loved ones near and far. Mary will be forever missed and
remembered by all who knew and loved her. We are thankful she is now
at peace in the loving arms of our Savior.
Service information: Visitation at Restland Funeral Home October 23rd
6-8 pm and graveside service at Restland Garden of Ascension at 10:00
am October 24th
