Mary Frances Bailey's Obituary
Mary Frances Bailey beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother was born December 25,1927. She attended Detroit High School in Detroit, Texas and after graduating High School, she jumped on a bus heading to Dallas, Texas. There she started a career in insurance until she met her future husband, William Bailey. They married and had their first son Perry Bailey on February 13,1958. Four years later they had a second son Stuart Bailey on January 28, 1962. Bill continued a career in retail, ultimately bringing him to the leadership position of CEO/ founder of County Seat Stores. Frances was a supportive force behind his success.
Mary Frances Bailey died on October 11,2025 at age 97. She is preceded in death by her husband William Sherman Bailey, her parents Marvin and Fannie Mae Covington, her sisters Marveline and Ann and her brother Buddy and nephew Mark Kitchens.
She is survived by her son Perry Bailey and his wife Lee and their son Christian Bailey and wife Megan. Son Stuart Bailey and wife Patti and their children Nicholas Bailey and wife Amber, Jason Bailey and wife Angela, daughter Natalie Van Horn and husband Carter. Great Grandchildren, Parker and Preston Bailey, Jack and Holly Van Horn.
